NBA:
Milwaukee Bucks -10.5 (at home against Minnesota Timberwolves)
Bet $100, win $91
Reasoning:
The Bucks were my favourite bet last season. They smoked everyone. I’ve been following them closely, waiting for them to go on a run. I think the time has come. They had lost 5 in a row which I think was their rock bottom. Now they’ve won 2 straight by at least 10 points. Tonight they get a brutal T-Wolves team that have lost 8 of their last 9. They’re 3-13 on the road. The Bucks are 11-4 at home. Bucks to win by 11 seems like easy money, right?
NHL:
Montreal Canadiens -1.5 (on the road against Ottawa Senators)
Bet $100, win $115
Reasoning:
Montreal’s a good team that has lost two in a row. Their last lost was against Ottawa. I’m banking on a Montreal bounce-back. Ottawa’s an easy team to bet against, too. All year it’s been either not scoring goals, or not making saves, or both. Also, Montreal’s an impressive 6-0-3 on the road.
