Let’s get right into it:
Busch is the type of beer you drink throughout a day at the cottage, out on the water on then in front of a bonfire. You don’t drink Busch to get hints of citrus or that hoppy zing or whatever other fancy beer terms you can think of. it goes down easy and you can have several of them and feel great about it. But yeah, it’s a cheap beer that offers nothing special in the taste department.
SCORE OUT OF 10: 6.1
PLAYER COMPARABLE: Luke Voigt- First of all, Voigt seems like the type of guy that would drink Busch. He comes across as a man’s man, someone that most of his teammates appreciate and the fans like. But, also not someone you build your team around as he’s limited in what he can bring to the table.
All or Nothing Hopfenweisse:
First of all, great can. Secondly, great taste. That’s like having a great run game and defense in football- an obvious recipe for success. It fits what I’m looking for- hoppy but not over the top hops, plus a nice citrus touch. I’d have a couple of these after a tough week of work and be in a happy place.
SCORE OUT OF 10: 8.5
PLAYER COMPARABLE: Jamie Benn- Given the tough dude on the can plus the complexity of the beer in offering a little bit of everything in it’s flavour, I went with a player that is a tough S.O.B but can also help as a scorer and playmaker. I know the Stars CEO recently ripped Benn apart but any team would gladly have Benn on their team and when he’s on his game, he’s a beast.
